Baltimore Bayhawks

            Orthopaedic Associates and Towson Sports Medicine are proud to be the official sports medicine providers for the Baltimore Bayhawks.  Towson Sports Medicine certified athletic trainers provide full athletic training coverage for all of the Bayhawks practices, home and away games and summer camps.  In addition, team physician Dr. Richard Winakur provides home game coverage.  Be sure to look for our staff on the sidelines as the Bayhawks seek a second MLL championship. 

Towson University

            Dr. Teri McCambridge and Dr. Scott Tarantino are team physicians for Towson University.

Charm City Run

            Towson Sports Medicine’s staff provides on site coverage for races sponsored by Charm City Run.  TSM also helps with educational clinics once a month at Charm City Run. Click on the Charm City logo at the bottom of this page to be directed to their website and more information.

Baltimore Bays

            The Baltimore Bays soccer club is Baltimore’s largest youth soccer club, fielding more than 30 boys and girls teams. Our Certified Athletic Training Staff provides tournament coverage, ACL prevention program, and educational talks. Maryland Orioles and Maryland Redbirds

            The Maryland Orioles and Maryland Redbirds is an amateur baseball team consisting of 17-22 year old college-eligible players locally and nationally. The Redbirds play a 40-game regular season schedule in the Cal Ripken, Sr. Collegiate Baseball Wooden Bat League. Our certified athletic training staff provides initial injury evaluations and informs coaches of a player's injury and participation status. An ATC also covers home games for the Redbirds.

High Schools

            Towson Sports Medicine has had a special relationship with Baltimore County Schools and area private schools for more than twenty years. We have contracted Certified Athletic Trainers at several area high schools on a daily basis to cover all practices and home events. We also provide biweekly outreach services to many additional area high schools to provide injury evaluation services, instruction on injury prevention/rehabilitation, and other health-related concerns.  We also provide physician coverage to three area schools, Friends School, Hereford and McDonogh School.
